Ight before we had our cable service cut off (we changed to WOW) we paid $165 and change for cable which we didn't have for the whole billing service due to disconnect. We received a bill for $35.90 and I phoned them about it telling them we had it shut off and they prorated our bill and I was told that within a month we would get a refund for $118.?? (don't recall the change).instead we keep getting a bill saying that we owe $35.90. I phoned them again and was told to disregard that bill. The following month I receive another bill saying that we still owe that amount. I phoned them again and after waiting for quite a while on hold was told that I would get a refund for $113.00. I told her that I was told it would be for $118.?? And she said that she couldn't give it to me on my word (wasn't good enough). I asked if it was on file and she said no. I told her that just due to intrest since they've had our money since May that they should at least give us the extra $5.00 since they've been getting intrest and she told me she didn't know how the other person prorated it to be $118 and that I would only get the $113.00. I'm tired of being jerked around by Insight as I should have had my check by now (it's been at least a month) and it will probably take another month before they cut my check. Don't like being called a liar.
