Zercon Constriction is owned by Gary Spitzer, structured as a corporation with his wife along with his mother as you can verify in the Contractors Board site, on 3-23-09 we made a verbal arrangement to travel to Irving Texas to demo and rebuild and get up to code the Slocum properties apt. Made out of 5 1 bdrm. Units and 2 2 bdrm. Duplex, 1,3 bdrm. And 2 2 bdrm units, all of them in the process of being downgraded to category 3 by the City of Irving and being forced to be either upgraded or demolished.
I had a crew of 3 men for the first week, tearing out carpet, old molded drywall, copper repairs, demo all old appliances and connecting them, tiling of floors, repainting the units, clean up the old drug hangouts that they were, hooked up power illegally, same with water service, it was all a drug hangout so you get the picture
The start of the second month of work, which included carrying materials in my truck, money started to get late, and later, promises of " next week " I've heard before, me and my helper decided to leave, an the 23 of May. The a/c man, the window man. Carpet and landscape man including me and the apt. Manager have not been paid, 3 weeks worth and expenses I paid to labor from the home Depot parking lot i paid of my own money! (750.00) a week! I should've known better, but he was my "friend" Don't fall for his bid! Owes me over 4000.00 besides the others, hope the City steps in again and take it this time around. 1516 W Irving Tx. And Elm St. Behind it, Don't rent! It's all molded! And NOT up to code, it's all cheap mickey moused all over! My job was done right, the buildings suck!
