Clay Rives, as former Chief Operating Offficer at Demarco you had first hand knowledge of what was going on.
Unfortunately once you realized Mr. DeMarco was not the Savior he was pretending to be it was too late. I am not that young anymore, I am 50 years old and am about to lose the home I worked 30 years for. I do not have a second chance because along with the 150,000 cash out Anthony Demarco took from my home, he also received rent of 2900 a month. Anthony told me that he had set aside 43,000 for a down payment and assured me I had nothing to worry about.
This was not true and when I could not afford the 2900 rent and asked for my Hardship reserves I was advised taht was no longer available. My question is what happened to the 150,000 from the purchase of the home? What has added insult to injury is not only am I the process of losing my home, I had to pay 2900 rent and all Demarco gave me was 20,000 cash out which he got back in rent.
I just identified the scenario that most of DeMarcos clients went through. What is happening now is the" STRAW BUYERS " have or are about to declare Bankruptcy which will eventually put clients out in the street (homeless)
The homes that are about to be lost all have a story behind them, Some were handed down from generation to generation, one of the homes involved has been in the family for 100 years, another invidual survived thyroid cancer and her Mortgage was through Habitat for Humanity. I spoke to another victim Angel and Mark and their home belonged to Angels father in law who has passed away. Last but not least I want to tell you about the little Brick house I love so much, It is located accross from a reservoir where Geese walk along with their babies every day, I know everyone in the neighborhood, I celebrated every Xmas with my mom who passed awy in November and all my nieces and nephews. This Mr. Rives is the home I purchased with my buy out from Verizon.
Now nobody cares, the banks want to get the homes (off the Books) our money is gone, I do not even know what Anthony did with the rent.
I am praying for a miracle maybe A bailout for Foreclosure victims, we certainly deserve that, Anthony and his Slugs told us repaired credit, A lower refinance in a year, and even a down payment set aside.
Clay as you can see this is very emotional for me and every single one of us who were Scammed, I will not give up, I am hoping that a real rescue will do exactly what DeMarco Rei was suppose to do.
A legitimate lease buy back works for everyone, too bad it had to be this way. Anthony DeMarco you should not sleep a wink at night for what you have done.
