I was notified by NCO, a collection agency for PayPal. The representative said that PayPal had attempted to contact me about an outstanding bill of $18.99, and since they couldn't reach me, my name was sent to collections. These people told me that I owe $107.99 and that if I didn't pay it, the bill would continue to increase. First she said eBay, and after talking to PayPal I was told "East Bay." I've never heard of East Bay. eBay, PayPal and East Bay are scamming people.
I was told that I ordered something from Diamond Wireless. I didn't order anything from them. I ordered a phone back in February. In order to receive my item I had to pay for it first. I discovered that the package was coming from Hong Kong, and it took about a month. I ordered a Motorola Razr phone. It cracked, and my cellular company tried to get the phone working. I have a piece of junk, and they have my money. The seller was excelbuying. I tried to work with them. They said to send them pictures of the phone, I did, and I never heard from them.
I talked with eBay and PayPal about it. I sent email after email. Do you think they responded? No, I didn't hear from them. They opened a case, closed it, and said they tried to reach me but I was never available. What a crock. I will never do business with them again.
Oh, the collection agency said, and I quote, "If you pay us $25.99, we will consider your debt paid in full." Tell me who would let their credit be ruined over $18.99. $18.99 turned into $107.99. These people must have fallen and bumped their heads. I closed my bank accounts. Consumers beware.
