Warrenty Issue/Refusal

I bought and installed a Self contained Strobe from Kuntzleman Electronics. Returned it as it stopped working. They told me it burned up because I put a larger fuse in it than was called for. I explained to him that I replaced the 1 amp fuse with another 1 amp fuse. He told me he didn’t believe me and he would NOT honour the 1 year warranty (Its 2 months old). Now I am out $140.
