Bryce McCavely Scam, bullying, and violating personal space

Miscellaneous

I am an employee at a business on 82nd and Flavel and I have encountered these "perfume salespeople" being out and about, they always are trying to push push push you to buy their stuff and they will use just about any tactics they can to get you to. It's either stand and listen to these people go on and on or be rude and blow them off, there isn't any other way to deal with them.

My experience was a group of three people, two males and one female. The male that did most of the talking was red-headed (ginger) with glasses and facial hair, while the other one was a heavy set dark haired man who was wearing sunglasses but took them off in the store. The woman had shoulder length brown hair, nothing special about her but she smiled the entire time even though she didn't say a single word while they were in my store.

Well, they approached me at WORK, the redheaded man initiating and leading the conversation. He asked me if I would like to buy some perfume, I said no, I'm at work. He then asked me who did the purchasing for the store and I told him it was my boss who wasn't available at the moment and I could take down his information to give to my boss. That was when he launched into a mini rant about how they do business to business trades, we can buy the perfume and they don't ask for any profits off of what we'd sell in the store (which anyone who's run a business knows that's bullshit unless you run a consignment store).

I kept telling them NO, and he kept talking to me. I finally gave up and told him to write down his information and I would pass it onto my boss and they'd maybe hear from him.

So, we have soliciting a storefront which they are NOT allowed to do, continuing to waste my time and my customers time, as there was a line forming behind them that they either didn't notice or didn't care about, and the redheaded man has no concept of personal space bubbles as he put his hands and arms on the counter and was leaning over it and me the entire time.

I called the number that Lucid Management has posted, a man answered the phone and I said I'd like to complain about one of your salespeople and told him exactly what went on, only to be told he can't do anything about the behavior/sales tactics of the people that get hired because they are independent contractors. He also refused to give me his name when I asked for it and he hung up on me.

So stay away from these people. They don't care about anything but running their scam and getting their paycheck.
