Scentura Creations "Independent Distributors" are expanding their perfume peddling business into the Little Rock area. They are advertising "Manager positions, no experience necessary." After several weeks "training" you're supposedly ready to open your own store, why aren't we seeing these stores popping up every where?

My twenty year old daughter, who I'll have to admit is very trusting and vulnerable is so disappointed to find out that this "dream job" she thought she had landed is just a scam. The only opportunity is to be a part of a business that preys on those desperate for a job.

My daughter said there are quite a few people who were hired at the same time she was who have families to support. These scam artists have them out trying to sell perfume with the potential for making just $7 on each bottle.

My daughter was so excited she called me at work (today was her first day of "training") and told me after three hours at the office they were told to go out and sell 25 bottles of perfume to their friends and family. She called back a couple hours later and told me she had sold two bottles to her boyfriend's aunt.

I had already told her I would buy a couple of bottle but that was all I could buy right now. I wasn't that familiar with any of the fragrances so I decided to go to a web site that sell perfume which I have purchase from in the past you can do a search and it will bring up a description of the fragrance (floral, woodsy, musk etc.) and it will name other fragrances that smell similar, so you can try to determine if you think you would like the fragrance.

I was having a hard time because the site wouldn't pull up many of the fragrance names. The products by the designer Scentura Creations wouldn't pull up, do I decided to do a search of the web with a search engine. Boy were we surprised the search for Scentura Creation netted many results of scam claims. Reading the scam claims, my daughter recognized everything they had been telling her in the interviews and training was being described and that the guaranteed income was probably just a lie.

Her hopes and dreams of finally getting a really good job are dashed, she is so disappointed. She is too honest a person to run a business deceiving people with the prospect of a "Management Position" or guaranteed income and the repackaged designer perfumes that are really only renditions but they were lead to believe the exact same stuff as the designers sell only in different packaging.

The Arkansas Democrat Gazette should stop printing these misleading job classified ads and these folks should be run out of town. I hope something will be done about these unethical business practices before they harm more unsuspecting young people and waste time that could be spent toward a paying job!
