Guarantee-no guarantee of service

II bought new, expensive eyeglasses at Walmart optical, because my insurance coverage was only valid there. The glasses broke while on my face, and fell apart into my lap. The glasses were only 6 months old. I took them back to Walmart on the guarantee of 12 months, no questions asked, and they flat out refused to repair or replace the glasses (quote) due to the damage being an internal defect. This should have been returned to the manufacturer to be made good, but 2 times I went back to Walmart optical, and both times the personnel were rude, and refused to do anything to help me. One time the clerk accused me of sleeping in the glasses, and said I probably mistreated my new glasses. I am angry, and am boycotting Walmart, and so are my friends. I am blind without my glasses, and they are unwearable. Walmart should be held accountable for their disservice to me, the (former) customer. They should, if nothing else, make the manufacturer repair/replace the glasses that will nt even be 1 year old until July 17.
