Paypal refunded $34.34 to a disreputable eBay Buyer who purchased one of my items on eBay via BIN. The Buyer dougmexxxxx purchased my eBay item 140407041235 with the express purpose of giving me negative feedback as direct retaliation for negative feedback I left for him/her on an item I tried buying from him/her. I left the negative feedback in the first place because of poor mechant practices by dougmexxx - and it was righteous negative feedback I left. After receiving my item - which was shipped fast and appropriately; eBayer dougmexxxx came up with some bogus reason for giving me negative feedback although the item I shipped to him/her was exactly as described. The picture in eBay showed discarded OEM packaging for a replacement item. I set the item I sold on the packaging to better illustrate it in the eBay item picture. Dougmexxx said that the item was not substantially the same since it lacked the OEM packaging. I sold the item "as-is" and not new. I had removed the bulky packaging to lower costs for dougmexxxx. Dougmemxxxx asked for a refund from PayPal and he/she got it IMMEDIATELY by tapping directly into my PayPal account... And I was NEVER given an opportunity to respond by Paypal Paypal just accepted the plaintiffs side as gospel and rushed to judgment. Does PayPal often open one-sided disputes, hears only one side and issues an immediate judgment! That is just wrong and Ill have to close my PayPal account if that is the case! Why would anyome trust PayPal to be fair, balanced and thoughtful - considering both sides of a dispute before they move out and damage one party simply because of unsubstantiated claims the other party. It was easy for me to prove to eBay that dougmexxx was lying - the message record proved he was a liar. Therefore, eBay removed the negative retaliatory feedback from my eBay transaction record. Now however, even as a so-called, "Top Customer" of PayPal; I cannot get Paypal to listen to me and reverse the refund they gave dougmexxx.By the way; to add insult to injury, dougmexxxx kept the merchandise for which he got a refund from PayPal, never offered to return it to me even at my expense and I can't say for sure - but I think he/she is selling it in their eBay virtual store! How do I get PayPal to listen to me, see the facts as they really are and refund my $34.34 or force dougmexxxx to return the merchandize he has effectively stolen? Why did PayPal open and close a dispute against me without EVER asking for my perspective? Why didn't PayPal give me even the slightest opportunity to address this issue before PAYPAL summarily took me money from my account without warning or explanation?
