Sebring, florida ihop - service at this restaurant

We visit our neighborhood IHOP alot on the weekends. Everytime we go in the door, we are politely greeted right away by your friendly staff. Most of the time, I talk my husband into sitting at the counter, if there is seats available. I, myself, like sitting there to watch the cooks do their magic. They get the food out swiftly & the food servers deliver the meals out to the tables as soon as the cook says it's done to that server. The managers at this restaurant "tries" to make their rounds to the tables to take 1 minute to ask how everything is or was. If not a good response, they make it good one way or another. Yes, this resaurant is on the "cool" side. Anybody that has gone into this place, should know to bring a light sweater, as I do & don't complain as I know the staff works hard & works up a sweat (I'm an ex-waitress). There's only 1 thing that we can complain about & that is the dishwashing area that is behind the counter. We get splashed & I usually say "WHOA"!! We have been to other resaurant where they have a glass between the wash area & counter. We & others that has sat there have wished that installing a glass (want to see thru) shield, to enjoy watching the cook line. It's an amazing show. I would like to send a "kudos" to the staff of this restaurant! Brendalee
