First of all, I've already contacted Channel 6 Consumer Action Line, Fox 29 Investigations, The PA Bureau of Consumer Affairs, and The Eastern PA Better Business Bureau. I suggest you all do the same. There is power in numbers and I think we all want this place brought down. I only wish I read the reviews before I got myself and my bridesmaids mixed up in this shady operation.
Our story is exactly like all of the others. The place is a shack, the dresses have no tags, the bridesmaids paid up front, and one of our dresses is missing. Oh yeah..."and all sales are final."
We ordered the dresses almost a year in advance and were told that delivery would take between 16 to 20 weeks (which is also in writing on the receipts). Three of the four dresses came in on time, but one is still missing and it was the first one ordered. We are now entering the 24th week since the order was placed. My MOH called 3 times last week and no one was willing to track the shipment. She was also told that the dress could take up to 32 weeks... That is 8 months! What in the world could cause a dresss to take 8 months to arrive??? Are they hand weaving the fabric on a magic loom in some far away universe??!?! 8 months is unnacceptable! I called and spoke to our consultant, Linda, and was told that the dress was on its way and it could take up to 24 weeks. Hmmm. 16,20, 32,24... Someone can't get their story straight! The receipt says 20 weeks, but I gave Linda until the end of next week (week 24) to locate the dress. If it is not there, I want all 4 of my girls refunded!
In addition to the missing dress, all 3 dresses that did arrive were delivered to the store even though the girls paid $19.99 up front to have them delivered directly to their homes. When we called to have the dresses shipped from the shop to our houses, we were told that it would be an extra $13.00... Uh, what was the $19.99 for then?!? At that point, my sister actually paid the additional $13 to have the dress delivered at home... And guess what, it never came! When my mother called to have the shipping refunded, she was yelled at and insulted by the owner, Mr. Titze. Nobody is allowed to yell at my Mother... NOBODY!
I may still have 6 months until my wedding, but I can see where this is going. I want to nip it in the bud before we have no where to turn. All 4 of my bridesmaids need to be clothed on my wedding day and 3 out of 4 dresses does not constitute a complete sale in my opinion.
I won't stop until we get a full refund and I want to see Bridaltown and Mr. Titze's 2-bit scam operation brought down! If you've been affected by this scam, please file formal greivances... It's the only way they will listen.
