WiredSeniors.com Home Exchange service collects fee, site goes down, promises refund, stops answering email

On October 23 I paid, via debit card, a $59 fee for access to their online home exchange listing and services. A few weeks later, when I went to use the service, the web site had been suspended by their hosting company. This situation continued for more than a month.

During that time I wrote regularly asking for a refund because the service was not available for planning my vacation and I had to go sign up and pay somewhere else. They did not respond until January 2oth. They promised a full refund.

That was the last time I heard from them. They have stopped responding to emails.

Straight out ripoff.
