My PC did not come with a recovery disk or Windows XP disk, I could not recover or reinsall after virus

I purchased this PC back in December and recieved it in Jan of 06, from the jump start it had problems, I reported it and of course I got the complete run around. I recently got a virus that corupted my files and programs so I needed to restore it but couldn't because they did not send a recovery disk or a Windows XP to re-install. My gripe with them is they sell these packages and add what I call alot of "fluff" I got a camera and a printer/all in one. They had preinstalled programs on my computer but most of them were junk or you got to use a trial then would have to purchase. They just take up a lot of space. They do not however send the things you need, or that will help you. They told me I would have to purchase a new windows XP and then call mircosoft to get a recovery disk, which did not make any sense to me since they would not know what I had on my computer. Customer service was inadequate to say the least, first they could not even locate the item, then said they no longer carried it. One person told me they got constant complaints about this very computer. I knew for sure then it was a lemon. The better business bureau said they got tons of negative feedback not just on this but also their other electronics. I also purchased a television at the same time I got my PC. It was a 32 inch flat screen, which turned out to be made by a company they bought from that is now in bankruptcy. The converter burned up and they can not replace it, this flat screen lasted me exactly six weeks. I asked them to credit my account and I would send it back, they said I could send it back and pay for the shipping which was free at the time of purchase. This of course would cost a fortune. They would not guarantee they would accept the return and said I should just buy a new one. This piece of junk cost me nearly $2000. It was ridiculous because they passed me around from agent to agent and left me on hold for up to an hour then disconnect me. So between the two items I spent nearly $3800. Their warranties are worthless. For the record I notice that they no longer sell the brand of either of these items, that speaks volumns. They buy crap, with a no brand and then misrepresent the items by saying they are made by a major manufacture like sony etc., they lead you to believe that not only is it equal to a sony but better. Their return policy boarders on illegal, I believe they know these products are defective and sell them anyway and just prey they work 31 days.
