Great Land Appraisal, Do not complete for or order an appraisal from GreatLand Apprisal because they will not pay you

I completed an appraisal for GreatLand in October of '09 and have yet to be paid.

I've sent multiple e-mails and left multiple voice mails requesting payment. I now find that their voice mailbox is full and won't accept any more messages.

I did a search on the California OREA web site and found that the owner, Leslie Noel is a licensed CA appraiser. An additional phone number was also listed. I was actually able to get a hold of her using the phone number listed by OREA.

She told a story to me of how horrible it's been running an appraisal management company and that she'd been treated terribly by her clients. She also assured me that she'd me mailing me a check promptly for the appraisal.

Another couple of weeks have passed since that call and of course I still haven't been paid. I've tried calling her at the same phone number and she doesn't answer or return messages.

It appears that she's doing the very thing that she complained about, ordering appraisals and then ripping off the appraisers by not paying them.
