Direct tv kept charging me for cable even though I couldn't watch it. I requested a service technician to come to my home to hook up my boxes, they said they could not do that unless I could tell them what the error messgae on my screen said. I just wanted them to hook up my cable in the first place, having just moved.in the mean time I was charged for several months of programming. I didn't know what to do. No one sugested anything. So I thought I would suspend or cancel my account. You are not allowed to do that unless you have a zero balance. Why should I pay for cable I can't watch??? In the mean time I had been sent to collections for refusing to pay. So after I finally decided to cough up the money, I called to make a payment so I could suspend my account. He wanted to charge me to make a payment. NO WAY!!! So he told me to call back after I made the payment online. I called the next day... GUESS WHAT??? Another charge had been added to my account for partial services that month. Cheese-n-rice! This isn't fair! They finally credited my account for the last charge so I could get my account suspended. I'm still out the several months of cable I never got to watch.
