Tech Support charges $2.95 per minute after paying for the product that will not load. Plano Texas

I bought McAfee Virus scan for $68.95, but was unable to load it. An error message kept coming up not giving any details, only "an error has occurred." Not knowing what was wrong and if I maybe have gotten a corrupt CD, I called Tech Support and was informed it would cost $2.95 per minute. I told him forget it. I returned the software to the store and bought a PC-cillin (much cheaper), but could not install it unitl I uninstalled McAfee.

I could not uninstall the program with the uninstall as you can every other program. So, I had to call McAfee Tech Support anyway and paid to get instructions sent by e-mai on how to uninstall. I guess they make it so you can't uninstall their program and have to call Tech Support.

The PC-cillin does everything McAfee does - but with free Tech Support and very friendly. Helpful, and knowledgeable.
