Store Repacked Items Upside Down, Damaging $5000 Shipment

This letter is regarding case #32959427, tracking number r449f84275567715. We are demanding that this claim, filed by Paul Myers (seller), be reopened to allow the customer John La Rosa (buyer) a fair opportunity to display the damaged items.

The package was repacked by the employees of UPS Store #2294. They repacked the items upside down, ignoring the directions to pack the items right side up, as shown by an arrow pointing upward. The employees were told on numerous occasions to follow the repacking instructions, which they ignored. The package was insured for $2500.00, and both packages for $5000.00. The buyer received the damaged items on October 21.
