Public Humiliation

Hello,

My experience last night at the 99 was horrible to say the least. I have been to this location dozens of times, and have never had an issue until yesterday. The waiter was fine, but when it came time for me to pay I realized I had my old credit card, which had recently been replaced. Upon learning this, the manager was called, and after I explained my situation, I was absolutely enraged at his reaction, which was to have zero consideration. I offered to write a check, to leave my phone, to leave my credit cards, and the only thing that Mr. Mike offered, was to allow me to leave my license (which I was driving, and there is a $90.00 fee for getting pulled over without your license). I was then told by the manager that if I did not find a way to get the $21.00, he would be forced to call the police. My friend, found her ATM card and paid for me, but I will never step a foot in that 99 in my life. I have never been so embarrassed, and disrespected. To top it off there was a hair in my water, which the same manager, Mike did absolutely nothing about that either. I have worked at restaurants during my teenage years, and even now working in a Corporation, I have never, and will never speak to a customer, or a human being the way I was spoken to by the manager. I understand that in his line of work, it was late, he was probably exhausted, and yet there should always be a level of decency and respect for every customer.
