Sarasota Ale House
Ripoff Poor Service, and after my friend and I paid our bill the Waiter (Rob) stood right over our table, and Demanded that we leave him a better tip. We were Treated Poorly and Harassed by the Waiter

My girlfriend and I went to the Sarasota Ale House. After ordering our beverage and food, the Waiter (Rob) did not offer to refill our iced tea, and when he asked how the food was, I told him my Hamburger did not taste good. He argued and left the table. I only took one bite of my burger. We requested our bill. After paying the bill, he returned to the table with our change, and then Stood over the table.

We asked him what he was waiting for... He replied, he was waiting for his tip.

Asking him why he was waiting at our table, he replied that was the policy when it was after midnight. He quizzed me as to where I worked, and said if I was not going to leave him more of a Tip I would not be welcomed to return to the restaurant.

My friend asked to speak to the manager, Rob said he was not there and that the Assistant Manager was not there. My friend left a $3.00 tip on a l2.00 bill and that was not satisfactory to the Waiter. Upon leaving, my friend stopped by and told the Bar Waitress of the incident, she located "the Manager" the incident was explained, and the Manager said he would speak to Rob.

This was the worst treatment we have ever experienced, and we will NEVER go back again, and plan on telling our friends and family of the treatment and poor service, and we are in hopes that others will not be a Victim.
After this treatment, I told my friend she should not leave Any tip, but she always tips, even when the service is not up to par. There is nothing posted or on the bill that requires a tip.

I feel this is a RipOff, and hope to let others know before they get a RipOff.
