To anyone looking for a replacement Social Security Card or other important legal forms such as a marriage certificate or divorce decree:
This company is extremely underhanded and unethical. I ran a search for a social security replacement card and "SNNHOME.com" came up at the top of the search. All links on the site point you directly to a credit card information screen that you must complete to access any relevant information on the forms on their website. The charge listed is 19.99 and THESE ARE FREE FORMS. There is very small fine print disclaimer at the bottom of the website saying that this company is not affiliated with the Social Security Administration and that this is a free form. My mistake for not knowing that, but upon submitting my information, they also charged me an additional $10 "annual membership" that was hidden in the fine print somewhere.
Upon learning that this form was free I called ssnhom.com's phone number to get my money refunded. The person I dealt with was a scumbag to put it nicely. She claimed I had ample warning that this form I paid for was free based on the website, and that it clearly posted that I was also buying the annual membership - regardless of the fact that I have absolutely no need or use for that hidden contract as I only needed the single form. I submitted this claim through my credit card company (BofA) to have the charge reversed and it was denied. This company employees a couple of sharks to answer their phones to fend off their complaints, and otherwise there is no contact informaion or location available for them. I strongly advise you to stay away from these corrupt people.
