I set up installation of a pergola for my patio for Fri 7/23/10 (took off work) with Sat as a back up date (found out on Sat the installer only works Mon - Fri) The order taker was less than confident regarding an installer "picking up" the order. Comments such as "if an installer picks up the order" they will call you on Thurs night or Fri am. If you don't hear from them by Sat am call us back.

Because I was not confident of anyone showing up I called Sears Thurs afternoon. That agent was helpful and confirmed an installer did pick up the order and should be calling me Thur pm. I heard nothing Thurs pm or Fri am.

Called Sears back Friday late afternoon. The agent called the installer but no answer. Left message to call me.

Heard nothing again. Called Sears back Sat morning. They tried to call installer and no answer. I was transferred to a Service Specialist who also tried to call installer but heard on their message they work Mon - Fri. My obvious question being, why would you schedule a job on Sat with an installer that does not work Sat. The specialist did offer to find an installer for Sat but I knew that was not going to happen.

Very very very disappointed with sears!
