Non-payment of invoices

I am an independent telecom tech who accepts and works orders from firms around the country like Wolf that hire me to do MAC work for their customers, in this case the customer being Game Stop.

Wolf has sent me numerous orders for the last few years, and I think we've been reasonably happy with each other, even though I've had to ride them about payment when they were slow... Which was typical. But at this point, I've got several invoices going back to April (it's now December) totaling over $1,400 that are still outstanding.

Several calls and emails have done no good, and they are now feeding me the same excuses I've read in other complaints about Wolf: they were victims of banking fraud that required them getting new checks, so they're delayed paying me; or the boss is out of town and he'll be back next week to approve of payments. Now they're claiming Game Stop hasn't paid them yet for the work, and they'll pay me when they are paid.

Well, I don't think so. Game Stop is making a killing even in this economy: their customers are lined up around the block. You can't tell me they haven't paid a bill. They make more money than OPEC. I think Wolf is stiffing me. And since their invoices only have a B.O. Box on them, I have to wonder why.

I think someone needs to take these clowns to court. They are getting away with this and no one is stopping them.
