In Nov I received a phone call offering Direct TV and there various plans for Cable TV veiwing. The gentlemen stated the various promo's that they were offering and I fell for it.."Buyer's Beware".. Since Nov until this month (Nov. 2009) I have been on the phone every month sometimes twice and three times a month for either service or billing issues.
In regards to service. If a cloud apperas overhead my service goes down. If it rains lightly my service goes down. If it rains hard my service can be down from 30-45 minutes. I don't live in a rural area but a major city. Ft. Lauderdale area
In regards to billing. The agreement for each month should have been a fixed price for one year unless I ordered a pay-per-view or any other type of extra event, which I haven't. My bills have ranged anywhere's from $43.88 per month to $182.71 and all in between. I have spent anywhere's from 30 minutes on the phone up to a hour and half correcting the billing error with a lot of promises made but the results are the same incorrect amount each month. I am currently in the process of dropping them effective next month..
In closing: " buyer or buyer"s beware of the problems and headaches that face you if you are offered there services".. Good luck
