Attempted rip off - Breaks

On April 13 or 14 2009 I took my car to Monroe Muffler in Green Plaza, Waynesburg PA to have the oil changed and the tires rotated. When I went back to pick up my car I was told that my breaks and rotors were bad and only measured 1/32 (?). I was told this was dangerous. I was told both the front and back were bad but I could possibly get by on the back but the front was in need of repair. The estimate on the cost was $500.00 plus. I told them that I didn't want to wait the approximately 1&1/2 hrs required to do the job. (This is the time given to me by the worker) I said I would have to bring the car back in the morning so that my husband could take me back home until the work was done. The worker asked where I lived and after I told him he said they would take me home. I may be "just a woman" but at some point even the dumbest of humans would start suspecting something shady might be happening here.in summation, the car is at the dealership, for a break job. Guess what? No break job needed.in conclusion, what can you do to remedy this? I don't care if you do anything, as I will NEVER take another viehicle to your establishment EVER again, for ANYTHING.
