I like to wear black. While shopping at Wal-Mart I found a ring that I liked and intended to buy so I set it in my cart. I continued to shop for my groceries and I also picked up some of the Halloween merchandise that was marked 90% off. While in the grocery section I decided that I would have to get the ring another time because I wouldn't have enough money to get the food I had on my shopping list so I picked the ring up so I would remember to put it back. I guess I set it down in the chocolate chips while I was picking which kind to get. I finished shopping, paid and was heading out the door when two guys came jogging up behind me yelling for me to stop. I stopped and one of them told me that I had to return the ring I had taken.!!! They accused me of stealing it in front of a bunch of people coming in and out of the store. I was so embarassed and very upset. They had been watching me ever since I had picked up the ring because I was dressed in black! I told them that I didn't have it anymore and the guy said that I would have to come with them then and show them where I must have put it. Angry, I pushed my cart full of groceries almost all the way to the back corner of the store to show them that I had set it down and hadn't stolen it. At first I was so upset that I didn't see the ring since I couldn't actually remember where I had set it. At that point the two guys were smirking at me (I imagine they thought they had caught a thief) then one of them saw the ring off to the side of the Hersheys morsels. Then they made up some lame excuse about keeping track of every item in the store so that they can put everything in it's place. (I'm sure they stop old ladies when they put canned food back in the wrong spot too... Right)
