Quality is poor - amethyst ring

I just purchased an amethyst ring from GemsTV. On TV, the color was a rich purple. The ring I received is a pale, washed-out color. Terrible quality. Back it goes.

They do state in their policies that if you return too much, they will refuse to let you order. But if the quality is this poor, I don't know what they can expect.
