Plastic trim rusting

Has any on else had there plastic door trim rust?
I am finding it on 3 of my doors on a (GOLD) 2006 Chrysler 300. One of them did the same thing 18 month after I bought it and It was replaced, but it took 5 trips to the dealer.
And Oddly enough it is no longer coved on the Factory"Bump to Bump"warranty being over 36k miles since Oct or the ($1600) Extended warranty.
