Ebay's customer service is abysmal. They do not have a phone line for customer service, nor an online personal chat. All they have is their email support, which is almost impossible to find, making it seem like they don't want to help anyone.
I tried to buy college textbooks from Half.com, and my purchase was not working. This credit card works on other online sites since then, so it is a not a problem with the card. Nevertheless, I tried with another card, and the same problem happened.
I emailed them with my issue, telling them that I had called my bank to make sure my card was working, and the bank confirmed the $1 confirmation that Half.com uses to make sure it is a valid card.
They emailed me back, telling me that it was a problem with my card and maybe i had entered my billing address wrong. This was simply false.
I emaield them again, telling them so and going into more detail about why it was not my card, and it was the site, and they decided to email me back the same, worthless info about my billing address.
This is by far the worst customer service i have ever experienced, and in a world of increasing online shopping, on such a well-renowned website, their customer service was awful.
