A-1 Auto Management
Or A-1 Autos Ripped me off for $2,488.00 and I don't have a vehicle to show for it!

Miscellaneous

I purchased a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 on December 13. I paid $500 down and payments of $328.54 mo plus another $100 for insurance through A-1. I had the Tiburon for about 3 weeks and got a call from A-1 demanding that I had to bring the car back in for an 'out of state inspection' that day or they would report the vehicle stolen.

I was assured that I would get my Tiburon back in 'two days, max!' and 'we've got you in a loaner until then.' That was the last time I saw my car. They had me in two different loaners for the next 3 months. They kept assuring me that they would get me into something of equal value of my choice after telling me I would not get the Tiburon back in February.

I asked them for my money back and they said, "Well, we could give you your down payment back ($500) but that's all because you have been driving a vehicle this entire time." I just wanted my Tiburon back or my money.

I too had a contract written up on a property lease agreement and was told that, "he didn't have any of the new contracts with him and that we would transfer all the information to the correct contract on our next encounter, but it was good enough so we could trade the cash and the car immediately."

The last contact I had with A-1 was when I made a monthly payment and they assured me they would have something for me within the next 7-10 days. Never heard from them in fact they stopped answering phone calls never returned my calls. The next phone call I received was from a detective and then a private investigator stating that they were trying to recover the loaner vehicle I had been using to it's original owner because A-1 had ripped them off also. I returned the vehicle and A-1 closed up shop and I assume 'skipped town'.
