Took my vehicle and have made not one payment for 5 months

This company finds people to assume your lease. They have an extensive contract you must sign and notorize.in the contract they clearly state they will be responsible for all the payments, maintenance, and insurance on the vehicle for the remainder of the lease. At first they are in contact with you quite regularly but after about a month or so you can't ever get ahold of them. They take your car and make no payments don't keep it insured or tell you where it is. When you try to call them and physically speak to them to demand they return your vehicle you can't because they know that unless you physically speak to them and demand it back its technically not considered stolen. Nice huh. This guy is no dummy he needs to be stopped i am now being sued by the bank for the vehicle the total price of the vehicle as they can't find it to repossess it. I am at my wits end i need help police say there is nothing they can do I can't report it to my insurance company because technically its not stolen nice huh what a pickle. Please if anyone can help i would be eternally greatful. I have good credit but now thanks to this piece of work i'm in trouble. Todd San Diego ca.
