Hobby-Lobby International
Ripped Me Off

Unfortunately I placed an order with Hobby-Lobby International on April 23 for various items and their new so-called improved ball linkages. I received a box from them 4 days later and found that the two packages of ball links were missing. I filed a caes with their customer support and got this:

Thank you for submitting your question to us online.

Case #00030554: "Items missing from order" has been created and a Hobby-Lobby representative will get back to you as quickly as possible.

I then got this email:

I have two packs headed your way. Sorry for the mix up.

Is there anything else we can help you with today?

I received a package via USPS today for my order #9062S090423 and one line item (#4) was missing. Everything else is fine.

This was missing and there was no paper or anything in the box to indicate it was backordered:

#4 10 Threaded Ball Links [#HLH813]
Quantity 2 x $9.90 = $19.80

I waited a week and still nothing, so I emailed them again and got this:

I have two packs of links headed your way.

Ok, so then I ask for a tracking number and got this:

Unfortunately, USPS has no tracking means.

Then I just ask for credit for the missing items (it's clear the guy did't even read my request):

Hello,
I have no way to cancel your order. It is already in the mail headed your way.

So here it is Friday May 15th, they have my money and I still have no parts.

I am going to open a report on usacomplaints.com to warn others. Ripoff reports has been able to resolve customer problems before. I know there are many others that are experiencing similar issues with Hobby-Lobby International lately and I encourage you to add your own reports there.

Hobby-Lobby International is now owned by Mark A. Cleveland out of Nashville, TN. I will be looking for his personal contact info as well.

I don't believe in giving away money for nothing.
