Hope Now took $2000 from my family instead of helping

I heard about hope now in january and called there company to see if they would be able to help with our mortgage. My wife and i were skepital about what they said they could. Hope now was nice enough to send use all kinds of documentation that made there buisness look legite on paper. So after sending 2000 dollars to these people they decided to make it so we could not contact anyone from this company and 5 months later we had to hire a lawyer to try and see if we can recoupe our 2000 dollars that was suppose to be guarenteed fundable if they could not get any help for use. Hope Now Modifications llc is a big scam.
