Parent PLUS Loan Deferment Misleading, Due After Six Months

I agree with the previous post. This company is misleading people by telling them that the Parent PLUS loan can be deferred as long as you're in school. You assume that means the student, but wrong: this loan will come due in 6 months automatically because they claim the parent is the one who needs to be in school. When the loan originates, it is with the student and for the student, not the parent, so the fact that after 6 months they require the parent to be in school for deferment is wrong on so many levels!

Something needs to be done here. They are misleading parents into thinking the loan won't be due until the child is out of school, and then in 6 months, wham, you get a bill. They are ripping parents off, and they are supposedly a government agency?
