Forbearance form rejected for 5 months, loan nearly defaulted

For the past 5 months I have tried to get an in-school forbearance on my loan. But every time I sent it in, they told me I sent in the wrong form, which is funny, because it is the same form they sent me when I requested it. Then they do not maintain regular contact with PNC (the lender) about my account status, so I get calls about delinquencies that have been taken care of for a while now.

I was notified yesterday that my loan was to be defaulted, even though almost a month ago I had my school send in an in-school forbearance. Luckily, AES is no longer servicing the loan, and we were able to get it deferred. But AES is a terrible company that hires incompetent people to do their work. They are all about the money but have no understanding of how to treat their customers.
