Victorville Mitsubishi
Verbal agreement not same as contract signed

Miscellaneous

In negotiating stipulations in the sale of an automobile, Mr. Sellers called my home and promised $1000 over and above the payoff for existing vehicle (trading in), if I drove to their dealership that night, in addition to the $1000 manufacturer's rebate and $500 customer loyalty discount. When I arrived, Mr. Sellers had gone home but Mr. Saldamando stated Mr. Sellers had informed him about the phone call and verified his statements. When reviewing the signed contract at home, noticed that $750 was allowed for my trade-in vehicle. Within the first week, contacted Mr. Saldamando of the discrepancy and said I would have to speak with 'Jimmy' the contract guy. I replied that if they could put fog lamps on my new vehicle, we could call it even. Ultimately, Victorville Mitsubishi did not fulfill their promise to me, nor make any amends to resolve it. All three men involved denied ever promising me $1000 for my old car.in other words, they lied to make a sale.
