Ripoff, contract fraud, harassment

We bought a car on Dec. 10th then got a phone call the next week asking us to come in and sign some papers. I went in and was told that there had been an error and we were going to have to redo a new contract because they had charged us $6000.00 less than they should have. The error came in when the General manager wrote out the buyers order for the car. He put down the trade in value on the old car as 16,800.00 instead of 10,800.00. We refused to bring the car back and demanded that they honor the contract and pay off our trade in.

THis demand was followed by their attorney contacting us and demanding the vehicle. This attorney called my home at least 15 times in 1 week. We ended up having to consult an attorney who informed us that Savannah Mitsubishi would not back down and it would end up going to a jury trial. I called the mitsubishi headquarters and was told that ther was nothing they could do that we needed to work this out with the dealership. We ended up having to return the car and take our old car back, since we could not afford the legal fees to take this to court. We now have a $500.00 attorney fee. I have been told that the man who owns Savannah mitsubishi also owns Savannh Toyota, so stay away from both!!!
