MidAmerica Administrative & Retirement Solutions
MidAmerica denies access to my $ needed to avoid home foreclosure

Miscellaneous

I completed a hardship application to surrender my 403-b annuity. (in order to avoid foreclosure on my home) My account is with Old Mutual but MidAmerica is the plan administrator & a signature from them is required to obtain my money. They have been given sufficient information on the foreclosure but continue to deny it. MidAmerica wants an eviction notice in order to surrender the policy. The hardship application says "Foreclosure" not "Eviction Notice" which is what I am trying to avoid. I have called the company repeateadly & every time they tell me the same thing: "WE NEED AN EVICTION NOTICE" (I have left many messages to Clint Foster, who is the supervisor, & not a single time has he called me back!) I understand that this company does not even have the $ on my 403-b! It is ridiculous that I need a signature from them in order to go to Old Mutual & get my money in order to avoid Foreclosure. MidAmerica should understand that these are times of need & people need quick access to $ that ultimately belongs to us. Let us deal with the IRS ourselves!
