My mother got Fios a little over 2 months ago. It worked well for a while and then she started getting messages across her tv screen. I told her it was either the box or the box because it sounded like she wasn't getting the signal. They gave her every excuse not to send somneone out. The last time she was told it was her box. They told my 70 year old mother to return the box herself and set it back up herself. She told them she wasn't able and tried to charge her $80. This is your equipment. They told her they wouldn't charge her after she argued. When the tech came he said it ewasn't the box and went on the pole. He came in and said it waswn't the pole and then said it was a cable connection. He also told her not to leave the Fios box on. He other box has no problems. She leaves it on. It has only been a day so we will see. To me, it sounded like he didn't know what the problem was. The customer servive rep didn't care because she said they don't come out. How can you charge for a service and not provide it? It is your equipment and you get $140 if my mom cancels. You are in breach of contract for not fixing of a broken box or an outside line. You also don't provide any kind of a users manuel to trouble shoot the little problems.
