Rip off, fraud, unauthorized monthly charges Internet

I first noticed a charge of $14.95 on my November credit card statement from Savings Membership. I am very careful not to subscribe to a membership and new this was not right. I went online and found that I was not the first. I took the advise of someone else and called the company. I was firm and they said they would refund the charges and cancel my membership which I had never signed up for. Sure enough the next month the charge was refunded.

Then I saw found my October statement, the company had conveniently forgot to mention I had been charged for the previous months too. This time I called my credit card company and complained. My cc company refunded the charge, plus another charge from August.

I just received my year end statement and now see I had been charged since June.in June 1, July 1, July 31 and Aug 30 the charge came through as AP9 Shopping Essentials. Since I had bought a few things in the mall around June, July and thought there was a store called AP9 I thought nothing of the charges.in September the charge came in under the name Savings Membership. This caught my attention immediatly. Unfortunately I now see that my cc refunded my all but the first three charges, which still leaves me out of about $45.00. This really pi... Me off.

I don't know how they got my information. But this is another reason I will never use my check card for online purchases. Things like this are just to easy to slip through. It is much harder to get your checking account cleaned up than it is to contest something on a credit card.

I have read several complaints from people and this company needs to be shut down. But it looks like they are still doing business as usual. Probably better now in this economy.
