Sanitizer spray

This is not so much of a complaint as it is a question. My question is what is the sanitizer that the fitness center supplies for its members to use? I am wondering if it is a healthy spray to be using because it has begun to irritate my lungs. If it is something toxic then it should be replaced with a healthy alternative. Please let me know asap. For the present time I am avoiding times of heavy traffic when more people are spraying the equipment and it is saturated in the air.
