Ridiculous return policy

My niece went to this store looking for some cute boots... She did find some and paid $60 for a pair... The owner of the store (a blonde, older, bitter woman) did not give her a receipt or even cared to explain to my niece the return policy... (i.E. Which is no refunds)... A few minutes later we went to another store further down in the mall that had the same boots for $25 and of course tried to return the $60 pair back to the store... Not being aware of the store policy I went back with my niece to get her money back... I did not go in there with a hostel attitude... As soon as I asked this bitter middle aged lady for our money back she went ballistic... Screaming in my face about the "no refunds" return policy... I tried to explain to her that my niece was not aware of the policy and wasn't even given a receipt... I told her that her attitude was very unprofessional which started her on a screaming rampage about how this world is a jungle and everybody in it are animals...

The point is this lady is a crazy old loon and a thief... She shouldnt even be alowed to own a store in such a wonderful mall... (the glendale galleria)... It gives them a bad name...

I didnt get my niece's money back, but I did get lots of poor, terrible, puthetic, ridiculous customer service...

All she had to do was to explain everything in a nice professional manner... Which wasnt the case

She did have a no refund sign by the cash register but was well hidden by danggling necklaces... Which defeats the purpose
