Whose error is it?

I signed up for the Verizon Triple Fios through AllConnect on November 25. The agent lied on two ocassion and stated the promotion was $85.00 a month after the $19.00 montly discount for the HMDVR. This turned out to be false, and AllConnect will not honor my service agreement. I spoke with the representative, who said her name was Cynthia, on three separate times before I signed up on the 25th. I am now trying to resolve this error with AllConnects Escalation Department, but it looks like I will be stuck paying the additional fees each month, which is higher than the current promotion offered by Veriizon. I am so frustrated with the level of customer service and accountability. I am told the customer service agent sold me a promotion that had expired October 31. Is that my error or the company's?
