Portabook
Paid for upgarde to aluminum components from plastic but received bigger plastic unit with no promised WIFI detector Wallingford Connecticut

Miscellaneous

Tried to order a "portabook" laptop computer stand online and was offered at checkout an opportunity to upgrade from $19.99 base model to $29.99 deluxe model made from aluminum rather than plastic. Order was also supposed to come with "free" WIFI detector. Three weeks later 2 ordered units arrived and were made of plastic but larger than advertised unit. I called customer service who stated that the upgrade was to a larger unit and that they had provided me with a USP book light instead of the WIFI detector. I asked abut the checkout upgrade to metal unit and wastold that they fdid not offer that upgrade. The only eay to see the upgrade offer is to put in all information and credit card info for base unit purchase and order, whereupon you are offered the upgrade. I was not about to do that again to confirm and print the upgrade offer.
