Who is United Response Services and why did they take $279.00 from the checking account I only use to pay my life insurance and why didn't the bank take notice?

United Response Services used a false check to withdraw $279.00 from my checking account on 12/11/08 without my authorization. I don't know who they are or pretending to be. After no response from United Response I called my bank. My bank said I need to keep trying to contact them so I called their number only to get a recording referring me to a website that I can't find. The search for their website brought me to this site and with as many complaints as I have read (all with the same phone number and withdrawal amount) I realize I have been Ripped-Off!
