Unauthorized charges

I read about the Acai Berry Detox weight loss method advertised online as the way that "Oprah and Rachel Rey" are using to lose weight. I ordered the "free trial" for $3.95 on 12/22/08.

The product was received. However, when I checked my bank statement on 1/4/09, I found that they charged me an additional $87.13. I called to ask for a credit since I did not place this order. They said my "account" was cancelled and that a credit of the $87.13 would be processed in 7-10 business days.

On 1/8/09, checking my bank statement I saw another charge from the same Acaiberrydetox (1-866-949-0138) for $2.61 on my bank statement. When I called the number, after a 5 minute wait, a gentleman who barely spoke English repeatedly told to call my bank because they did not process the charge... I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that there were none available, they are "on call". After several times of putting me on hold and getting no where with this person, he hung up on me.

I called back and this time spoke with Erica who went through the same conversation and repeated what the other individual told me. She said I would receive an email confirming the cancellation and the credit of $87.13, but denied the charge of $2.61.

So, I called Bank of America (my bank) and explained the situation and to my surprise the customer service agent helping me from there said she had just gone through the same experience with this company. She indicated that if the credit doesn't appear by next Monday (1/12), I should calll back and ask for the dispute department and they will help me.

While on hold with FWM labs, I googled them and found nothing but complaints of fraud, rip-off, etc. This company needs to be stopped and I'm sure that if Oprah or Rachel were aware their names are associated with this business, it would be stopped now. They are nothing but scam artists and they need to be stopped now!
