This company is a fraud

I read about the Acai Berry Detox weight loss method advertised online as the way that 'Oprah and Rachel Rey' are using to lose weight. I ordered the 'free trial' for $3.95 on 02/10/09

The product was received. However, when I checked my bank statement on 02/25/09, I found that they charged me an additional $40.00. I called to cancel this order and ask for a credit since the actual transaction according to my bank statement didn't take place until 02/13, which means the actual order wasn't processed until then and the 14 day trial period was not up yet. They said my 'account' was cancelled and told me that they would not stop the pending payment on my account. I spoke to 3 reps and a so called supervisor who would not issue a refund nor let me speak to anyone high than them.

When you call customer service at 1-866-949-0138 all you get are half english speaking representaives, so you know they have outsourced their call center to other countries. They leave you on hold forever before they let to speak to a "supervisor" and then they tell you that they don't have a dispute department or an accounting department or any manager higher than the supervisor you can speak to.

In my own investigation of this company I Googled the address 2040 NE 163rd Street Suite 305 North Miami Beach Fl. 33162 and contacted the Investment company that owns the property (Twenty Forty Investments Inc.) and asked the name of the company that resides of the in suite 305 and he says that they checked out of the suite and they owe him 20,000 and he has not heard from from since. I also called the telephone number of Lipaphen-RX, which is the Ft. Lauderdale address 2495 Stirling Rd #20 Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33312, and its just voicemail that is completely full. I have also Googled 3007 Greene Street Hollywood, Fl 33020 and 2 different companies have come up with address, one who hasn't been at that address since 2006 and the other which is the Marines.

These two companies are scams and I have sent emails to all the TV stations in Philly and I am also sending to Rachael Ray and Oprah and who ever else will listen. They need to be stopped right now.
