Bogus lending company

On Dec. 4 - I received a call from Diane Bower to inform me that I met the requirements for a loan for a used car. I had filled out an online application at cars.com trying to match up lenders. Once, I received the paper work I called to clarify. She proceded to explain that I needed to provide 6 mos. Worth of payments for 36 month loan. She then, told me I needed to wire the money (absolutely should've seen the red flag right there!!!) to a Nancy Grandberry in Canada then, would receive payment within 24 hrs (next business day). I did this on Friday, Dec. 7.

Monday, Dec. 9th, about 8:30 CST, I received a phone call from Larry that my file was reviewed and an additional 6 mos. Payment would be needed. At this point I refused the loan and demanded a refund. He told me I would have to wait until the next billing cycle, all the while arguing with me that I should've read my contract. I left unhappily and told him I would not recommend this company to anyone I knew. Today was their " billing cycle day" and to no surprise, I have no refund deposit into my account. Tried calling, phone number does not work, no internet access to their web site. It was all a huge hoax.
