Scared that they ripped us off. South Carolina

I have just found out that jk harris may have ripped me off. The worst part, besides the money they took, is that we have waited to sell our home to pay the irs and now the house is even worth less money. I was told to wait to sell. I don't know if we can even pay the irs with the sale of the home.

We were told we would save money by going with them. (you will save pennies on the dollar, ha!) i can't always reach my contact persons and it may take over a week to get any reply on questions i have. They didn't even give the state the power of attorney we signed and now they want us to sign a new one after 8 months. They said the other power of attorney doesnt apply because the people may be gone from the company.

I called the office today and a woman who is represented us, actually reamed me out and said i didn't give her a financial report. (she does, although have a great future as an actress/radio talk host.) because of my conversation with her, a red light came on and i started to wonder if the whole thing is a scam. Why does tv let these companies advertise?

What does a financial report have to do with the power of attorney? They should have filed the power of attorney with the state/irs right after i signed. I went around thinking i was covered and my income, home and whatever else the irs could attach was safe. I called the state and they haven't recieve anything but the taxes that we filed. Jkharris says to not contact or speak to the irs or state. I'm glad i did. I am getting the paperwork for free to do a oic. I don't know what to do and where to get more info. Please help out there.

I was never told we could do all of this for free.
