Beware of Jim Walter Homes. They are a scam. The houses they build are not quality homes. We are having mold issues, windows leaking, uneven door frames, to name a few things..

If you a few days late on your payment, they will send someone by your house to collect and threaten you. They came by our house on christmas eve to tell us if we didn't make our december house payment, they were going to forclose. They are very friendly in during the loan process but after you sign they are sharks!

We hired one of the guys working for Jim Walter to paint our house after construction. He took our money and we didn't hear from him again.
