The Yorkshire
Bad service, burnt food, and 1st come not 1st served

I was at a supposedly fine resteraunt, the Yorkshire, in Williamsburg, VA, with a large group of Friends. We got there before some of the members of the party, so we ordered, my husband ordered the special which was trout, and I ordered shrimp. We were there about 1 hour and we had not received our meals. I called the Waitress over and she informed me that she did not turn in our orders, that she served the other table of our party first. When asked why this happened the waitress told her co-worker that her friends were sitting at that table so she was going to take care of them. Then, the waitress informed us that there was no more trout available. Well, imagine our surprise when the members of our party who arrived late got the trout. My Husband reordered and I received my shrimp dinner, burnt, and not edible. We had to get up and get our own refills. Our food was cold. I sent my dinner back to be redone, and decided not to eat the meal. I do not recommend this restaurant for any type of gathering, friends, family, or special groups, because the service is unreliable, and you do not know what your meal will be like.
